Origin of the Seven Stars (2010) is a small framed text piece which considers colonialism in relation to outer space. It intersperses a Native American myth from the Wyandot Nation (as transcribed by the anthropologist Marius Barbeau) with a U.S. Presidential Directive from 2004, a legal text which intends to advance US interests via space exploration.
